ssAalto photography club (AVS)

The association organizes activities related to photography in Otaniemi area that functions under Student Union of Aalto University.

The club organizes following activities during the semesters:

• Darkroom and other photography courses
• Monthly photography evenings
• Photowalks
• Documentation of student life mainly in Otaniemi

The members of the club can use darkrooms located in Otaniemi. Since the renovation of our own darkroom in Jämeräntaival,  we have currently temporary solutions to use other darkrooms. In addition, the club has rentable photography equipment and own film scanner.

Joining the activities in easy and you don’t have to be a member to join the events! You can find us in Facebook and Telegram and email. Hit us message for additional information trough the social media or the contact form under. The Telegram link is available also through these channels!

The membership fee is 20 euros to members of Aalto University Student Union (AYY) or 30 euros for other people. The membership is valid for 12 months after the payment. The membership applications (see the Jäseneksi – Membership page) are accepted in the board’s meetings monthly, but you can join our activities even before that. During the confirmation of the application, you will be send the payment information.
